The Living Dream · Mount Ashland
Ancient teas from Yunnan. Small cups. Slow rounds. A practice that opens the body and quiets the mind.
Book a SessionThe Practice
Gongfu cha — "tea with skill" — is a Chinese tradition of preparing tea with full attention. Small teapots. Small cups. Multiple steepings of the same leaves, each round revealing something new.
Scott studied at Dobra Tea in Ashland, one of the few traditional tea houses in the Pacific Northwest, and has spent years sourcing directly from Yunnan — the birthplace of tea. The teas he serves are aged puerh, raw sheng, and high-mountain oolongs chosen for depth, clarity, and presence.
These sessions are not performances. They are shared spaces — held with intention, opened with breath, and deepened through the quiet ritual of the tea itself.
What to Expect
Space to arrive, breathe, and leave the day behind before the first cup is poured.
Scott selects the tea based on the season, the guest, and the mood of the day — or you choose together.
Multiple rounds of the same leaves. Each steeping opens differently. Time slows. Conversation deepens or falls away.
Space to sit with the tea's effects — warmth, clarity, presence — before returning to the world.
"Each cup is an invitation to slow down."

✦ An Ancient Art
Tasseography · Astrology · Herbal Wisdom
Tea leaf reading — tasseography — is an old intuitive art. After the tea is finished, the leaves settle into shapes and patterns that can be read like a living map: reflecting where you are now, what's moving beneath the surface, and what's asking to be met.
Sati's readings are grounded, gentle, and clear. With several years of practice, she weaves traditional tea leaf symbolism with astrology and earth-born herbal wisdom — offering not only insight, but practical support for integration. Each session is a conversation with the moment you're in: a mirror, a compass, and a small ritual of remembering.
Come as you are. Bring a question, a threshold, or simply your curiosity — and let the tea speak.
