The heart of North Star Studio is a Gamble Series EX console by Crest Audio — a full-featured analog mixing desk with a patchbay that gives total routing flexibility. Paired with high-quality studio monitors, outboard processing, and a hybrid analog/digital workflow, the signal chain is built for transparency and character in equal measure.

A Console With History

Our Gamble EX32 console has an iconic legacy: it lived at Sony Studios in New York, where it recorded all episodes of the hit TV series Friends and numerous other classic sitcoms. Today, it's trusted by legendary artists including the Grateful Dead, Sade, Sting, Bonnie Raitt, and the Eagles.
